Assistant Restaurant Manager Primary Objective

Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations, and financial performance under the supervision of the General Manager.

Essential Functions

• Assist with administrative duties: ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, vendor invoices.
• Source, interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff.
• Oversee financial responsibilities: cash handling, deposits, authorizations.
• Resolve food quality and service complaints.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Support marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Lead by example, foster team development, and provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with management and staff, using discretion and initiative.
• Address guest complaints promptly.
• Operate computers and related hardware/software.
• Perform duties of other restaurant roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Stand/walk 100% of shift; frequently reach, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in damp, hot environments; handle sharp knives and machinery.

Salary ranges from $59,000 to $68,000 USD annually.
