Assistant Restaurant Manager - Grand Island NY 4755

Join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Clark Holdings Inc., a Tim Hortons franchisee in Western New York! We are looking for experienced, dedicated individuals passionate about quick food service to lead our team at 2366 Grand Island Blvd, Grand Island.

Role Overview: Reporting to the District Supervisor, the Assistant Restaurant Manager oversees restaurant operations, including managing Customer Service Team Members, facilities, and equipment to meet high standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality. In the absence of the General Manager, this role also manages Bakery Team Members, Shift Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (minimum age 18)
  • At least 12 months of food service management experience
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Tim Hortons products and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance; willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Lead by example, respond to complaints, assist with scheduling, conduct store walk-throughs, troubleshoot issues
  2. People Management: Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; provide ongoing feedback
  3. Driving Sales: Merchandising, inventory management, staff incentives, performance evaluation
  4. Operational Analysis: Maintain a safe, productive environment; manage inventory; oversee food safety and equipment maintenance; analyze performance data

Physical and Environmental Conditions: Work is performed in a busy restaurant environment requiring physical mobility, standing for long periods, lifting light to moderate weights, and working flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
