Job Description

Three Blue Ducks at The Farm in Byron Bay is a one-of-a-kind venue set on an 80-acre working farm and macadamia orchard, with sweeping views of the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse. We’re a passionate, professional, and friendly team who love what we do — creating memorable food and beverage experiences rooted in sustainability, community, and quality.

The Role:
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our established team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in driving day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring every guest has an outstanding experience. You’ll work closely with the FOH team to foster a positive and motivated culture, while supporting training and development of junior staff.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant

Strong food and beverage knowledge with a genuine passion for hospitality

A calm and professional approach with excellent customer service skills

Confident in mentoring and motivating a large team

Great organisational and time management skills

Wine and cocktail knowledge is a bonus

Financial understanding and the ability to support budget goals

Solid computer literacy (experience with Microsoft Office is a plus)

A team player who leads by example and is always guest-focused
