Description

The Brick Walk Café is a fast casual restaurant featuring snacks, lunches, healthier options, an ice cream sundae bar, and the Starbucks Gazebo, located on Bestor Plaza with indoor and outdoor seating. It operates from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during summer.

Compensation

Starting at $21.00/hour, with potential to earn up to $24.00/hour based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting and training culinary and foodservice staff.
• Oversee staff orientation and training.
• Manage POS systems, cash handling, food costs, inventory, scheduling, and labor costs.
• Lead and adhere to company policies, reflecting the company's culture and values.
• Demonstrate organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Maintain staff uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training staff.
• Communicate goals set by management.
• Oversee kitchen staff and communicate updates.
• Complete audits, reports, and forms.
• Delegate tasks effectively.
• Motivate staff and foster a positive environment.
• Enforce policies and train staff on new systems.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching.
