This role involves assisting with training and supervising all Barlines Associates at the hotel. The Assistant Barlines Manager ensures prompt, courteous service in line with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies, maintaining high service levels across Barlines, Pool Bar, Nighttime In-Room Dining, and Lobby Bar outlets.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the assigned shift and overall operations.
  • Supervise, evaluate, organize, recruit, train, and direct Barlines and Pool Bar staff.
  • Complete environmental checklists for the dining areas.
  • Monitor liquor inventory, ensure quality, and adhere to liquor liability laws.
  • Order supplies daily.
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a presence on the floor during peak hours.
  • Coordinate with staff and communicate with guests.
  • Oversee food preparation and beverage presentation.
  • Assist in scheduling, payroll, and forecasting.
  • Manage maintenance requests and follow-ups.
  • Monitor requisitions and waste.
  • Know emergency procedures and promote safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
  • Implement promotions and special events to improve profit.
  • Handle cashiering responsibilities thoroughly.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of management experience in food & beverage, preferably in a hotel or high-volume sports bar.
  • Proven leadership skills to train, develop, and motivate staff.
  • Ability to teach staff about guest interaction and internal requests.
  • Ability to prioritize and provide performance feedback.
  • Experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high-volume orders.
  • Strong organizational skills and guest follow-up abilities.
  • Serve Safe certified food manager and unexpired TABC certification.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand or walk for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
