About the Role

At Osaka Miami, hospitality is a craft. Every detail, gesture, and interaction contributes to an experience that feels effortless — yet is driven by precision, teamwork, and purpose.

We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a hands‑on role, working closely with the front‑of‑house management team to guide the guest experience, support daily operations, and uphold Osaka’s standards of excellence.

The position blends operational leadership with administrative coordination, ensuring seamless connection between service, people, and organization.

What You’ll Do
Operational Leadership
  • Lead and support the FOH management team during service (sommelier, bar, reservations, floor).
  • Be actively present during service, managing flow, guest experience, and team rhythm.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness, organization, and consistency.
  • Address guest feedback and service issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Osaka’s service standards across all shifts.
Administrative & Coordination Responsibilities
  • Support scheduling, labor planning, inventory control, and operational reporting.
  • Ensure clear communication flow between departments and management.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff training, development, and performance follow‑up.
  • Maintain alignment with company policies, brand standards, SOPs, and service goals.
What You Bring
Experience & Knowledge
  • 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in upscale or fine‑dining restaurants (Assistant Manager, AGM, or Restaurant Manager level).
  • Strong beverage knowledge (wine and spirits required; sake a plus).
  • Experience managing and developing teams of 20+ staff in a high‑volume environment.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and reservation platforms (Toast, Micros, Aloha, Resy, SevenRooms).
  • Experience with inventory and cost‑control systems: MarketMan, Restaurant365, xtraCHEF, etc.
Skills & Attributes
  • Warm, attentive, and confident leadership presence — especially during service.
  • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
  • Client portfolio / local guest network is highly valued.
  • English fluency required; Spanish highly recommended.
  • Familiarity with Asian, Latin, or fusion concepts is a bonus.
Why Join Osaka
  • Competitive and attractive compensation package.
  • Collaborative, high‑performing hospitality culture.
  • Opportunities for professional development across international Osaka locations.
  • Be part of a globally recognized brand with deep culinary identity and strong guest loyalty.
