Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to back the Restaurant General Manager in busy shifts, uphold brand standards, and lead frontline teams. You will help manage inventory, ensure timely service, and maintain financial accountability while delivering safe, quality meals to customers.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, a focus on safety and accuracy, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, plus strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stoop for 80% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete assigned duties and maintain inventory control.
• Maintain financial accountability and safe, quality food delivery to customers.

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.
