Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center seeks a Restaurant Manager to direct Ariccia Cucina, Piccolo 241 Cocktail Lounge, In-Room Dining and the Executive Floor Lounge. The role ensures first-class service, quality food and beverage offerings, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.

You will lead outlet supervisors, manage costs and inventory, and collaborate with the Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage and Finance on budgets, menu changes and promotions.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of fine dining Food & Beverage outlet operations including supervision of staff.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls is required or preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seven-day restaurant operations with focus on dinner service Tuesday–Saturday.
• Interview, train, supervise, counsel and discipline outlet supervisors and staff.
• Develop cost-saving measures and ensure profitability across outlets.
• Coordinate with Finance on budgets, forecasts and inventory management.
• Ensure SOPs, ServSafe, and Responsible Vendor standards are followed and maintained.
