Job summary

BC Stone Homes is hiring an Assistant Residential Construction Project Manager to support multiple custom homes in the LaGrange area. This field-based role requires daily travel between active job sites; a company truck, fuel card, and cell phone are provided.

You will help keep projects on schedule while coordinating subcontractors and inspections. The ideal candidate has strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus experience reading plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; construction management or related education preferred.
• Residential construction experience preferred.
• Proficient at reading plans, specifications, and selection sheets.
• Excellent computer skills, including project management software and mobile field applications.
• Valid driver license and an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of multiple homes simultaneously.
• Manage subcontractors and material deliveries to keep each job progressing.
• Maintain an accurate job schedule for every assigned home.
• Coordinate municipal and third party inspections and resolve correction items.
• Communicate job status, delays, and issues promptly to the EVP of Operations.
• Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policy and applicable codes.
