The Assistant Research Scientist will conduct highly technical and specialized scientific research at the interface of cancer biology, radiation physics, and redox biochemistry. Research projects involve advanced techniques to study the effects of ionizing radiation on iron metabolism and its role in tumor cell motility. The position requires the ability to independently secure funding, design and perform experiments, analyze data, and disseminate findings, primarily collaborating with faculty researchers. A doctoral degree or equivalent in cancer biology, radiation physics, or related fields, along with outstanding achievement and publications, is required.
