The Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill an Assistant Research Professor position in the area high-energy neutrino astrophysics. The successful candidate will lead experimental research efforts in the astrophysics of ultra-high energy neutrinos and cosmic rays, with a particular focus on high-elevation and high-altitude balloon and space-based missions.Additionally, this position involves close and constant collaboration with existing efforts at Penn State including IceCube, as well as other multi-messenger and particle astrophysics experiments.
