Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or International Business.
  • Master of Science/MBA is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to listen, elicit information, and resolve issues.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit products and procedures.
  • Capacity to coordinate with other departments and learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with MS Office to prepare reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the RM in assessing management trends and economic performance of reference customers.
  • Collaborate with the RM in structuring the Bank’s products and services.
  • Support meetings with clients, negotiate and structure facilities and deals, in bilateral or syndication contexts.
  • Assist in identifying business opportunities and cross-sell corporate and investment banking products.
  • Ensure KYC and CDD procedures are followed according to bank policies.

Job description

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support the Relationship Manager with business development and managing the relationship with the branch's Global Corporate Clients assigned, structuring of products and services to meet customer needs, as well as with the development and enhancement of current and prospective client relationships, corroborate with the RM in meeting with clients, including negotiating and structuring facilities and deals, both on a bi-lateral basis or in syndication, preparing call reports, liaising with GRMs & Head Office departments & ensure the execution of all administrative requirements in support of the Relationship Manager.

What you'll be doing

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Relationship Manager in assessing management trend and economic performance of the reference customer and activating the necessary corrective actions;
  • ollaborate with the RM in structuring the Bank’s products and services to meet customer needs and provide support in the development and enhancement of current and prospective client relationships;
  • Accompany and support the RM in meeting with clients, in negotiating and structuring facilities and deals both on a bi-lateral basis or in syndication, in preparing call reports and liaising with GRMs and HO departments;
  • Assist the RM in identifying business opportunities and with cross-selling Intesa Sanpaolo’s financial products and services, which includes Corporate and Investment Banking products, etc;
  • Ensure the Branch’s KYC (Know Your Customers) and CDD (Customers Due Diligence) procedures and directives are strictly adhered to.
Who we are looking for

We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:

  • 1/3 years of experience in similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or International Business from an accredited education institution or comparable/related work experience
  • Master of Science/MBA, a plus
  • Capacity to provide outstanding customer service while listening, eliciting information, comprehending, and resolving complex issues efficiently
  • Thorough knowledge and familiarity with credit products and procedure
  • Capability to co-ordinate with other Departments and keen to learn
  • Extensive knowledge of the Bank’s policies and procedures and its control environment
  • Superior MS Office skills to prepare communication, reports and presentations by utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
