Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Directors with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
• Support logistics, banquet and event planning, preparation and execution.
• Assist with warehouse operations, inventory, and event materials management.
• Travel to and support CCA Florida banquets and events, including overnight trips.
• Help ensure smooth execution of events and maintain a high standard of member and sponsor experience

Assistant Regional Director

Location: Orlando, FL Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week, with occasional overtime) Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

About The Role

This position plays a vital role in supporting events, membership engagement, and organizational operations that directly contribute to CCA Florida’s mission of marine conservation and advocacy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment and is passionate about fishing, conservation, and working with people.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Directors with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks
• Support the Logistics Procurement & Inventory Manager, Regional Directors, and Director of Events and Membership in banquet and event planning, preparation, and execution
• Assist with warehouse operations, including organization, inventory, and event materials management
• Travel to and support CCA Florida banquets and events, including frequent overnight trips
• Help ensure smooth execution of events and maintain a high standard of member and sponsor experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a non-profit organization (volunteer or employee) preferred
• Knowledge of or involvement with CCA or similar organizations preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles, including box trucks
