CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide accounting and administrative support to business units, offering guidance on day-to-day activities
• Assist with mentoring and developing a team of accounting staff members
• Oversee and audit the revenue recognition process monthly, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
• Drive an accelerated close process across the business units, reviewing balance sheet activity and financial results
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including WIP reports, balance sheets, and P&L statements
• Analyze KPI’s, financial performance, variances to budget, and past periods, providing actionable recommendations
• Prepare monthly operation & finance reporting packages for each business unit
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure accurate cost estimation and forecasting for ongoing projects
• Perform special financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Support cash flow forecasting efforts, manage cash disbursements and collections for the assigned business units
• Assist in the completion of the company’s annual financial audit and ensure timely reporting
• Regularly review and enforce internal controls, conducting periodic audits
• Oversee payroll submissions, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and Prevailing Wage requirements in Oregon and Washington
• Prepare business unit budgets and forecasts, collaborating with local management
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and efficiency gains, driving actionable change
• Perform additional duties as required to support the Regional Controller and business units
