Qualifications

• 12-18 months proven experience working with AC/HVAC systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Training Certificates per STCW standard

Responsibilities

• Support the Refrigeration Officer in maintaining ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems on the vessel
• Perform elementary mechanical tasks as needed
• Assist in maintenance and routine testing of equipment, instruments, and automation
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety programs
• Follow the company’s Health, Environment, Safety and Security Management System
• Participate in drills and training; rotate on-call duties as required
• Complete additional assignments depending on ship operations

Officers to maintain and repair the Air Conditioning and refrigeration systems. Working as part of the small refrigeration Team under the guidance of the Chief Refrigeration Officer you will play a vital part in ensuring our ship stays cool so sour guests can enjoy their Fun and memorable vacations!

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Support the Refrigeration Officer in the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel's Ventilation and Air Condition and refrigeration systems
• Performs elementary mechanical tasks.
• Assist the Refrigeration Officer in the execution of the maintenance and routine testing of equipment, instrument, and automation
• Ensure that all aspects of our occupational health and safety programs are effectively applied
• Ensure all aspects of the company's global (HESS-MS) Health, Environment, Safety and Security Management System are effectively applied during his/her working activities
• Performs on-call duties as per the department rotation.
• Participate in drills and training as required by the company
• Complete additional assignments depending on shipboard operations

Qualifications and competence

• Minimum 12-18 months proven experience working with AC/HVAC systems
• High School Diploma, Technical training in AC/HVAC
• Basic Training Certificates as per STCW standard
• English language proficiency
• Strong focus on ships safety management
• Ability to work well with a team
• US Visa C1/D
• Covid 19 Certificate

Additionally it is preferred, however not required, with shipboard experience in same capacity onboard cruise ships.
