Location: This position is required to work in person at various sites across the City. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting with maintaining clean, safe and available city recreation facilities in Arena/Pool/Community Centre/Specialty Facilities portfolio, while providing customer service on facility maintenance issues for clients.
Responsibilities:
Requirements: You must be able to read and write English in order to follow directions, be able to prepare reports, maintain a log and interact with clients. Basic computer skills are required. WHMIS, C.P.R. and First Aid certification required. No experience required. Experience using industrial cleaning and/or dealing with security key panel operation, safety equipment preferred. Most work is indoors, but you may spend time outside vacuuming pools or clearing snow. Some environments have wide temperature variance (i.e. Arenas) and exposure to physical plant. May be required to attend more than one job during a shift and must provide own transportation.
Hourly Range: $20.74-$25.92 (Grade B)
