Job summary

Rio Salado Sportsman's Club in Mesa, AZ seeks an Assistant Main Range Manager to support the Main Range Manager in the daily operation of RSSC Ranges, ensuring safety, efficiency and professional service for members and guests.

The role involves supervising staff, training Range Safety Officers and cashiers, enforcing SOPs and club policies, scheduling shifts, conducting safety inspections, maintaining facilities and equipment, and handling customer concerns and emergencies in a calm,

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of firearms safety and handling.
Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop employees.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily management and operation of the shooting ranges.
Implement and enforce all RSSC SOPs, MRPs, and Club Policies.
Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Range Safety Officers and cashiers.
Schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing for daily operations and maintenance.
Perform opening and closing procedures, including security inspections and cash reconciliation.
Ensure the range remains clean, organized, and safe.
Conduct regular inspections of ranges, buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Assist with minor maintenance projects.
Respond to customer concerns, safety issues, emergencies, and incidents professionally.
Monitor employee compliance with safety procedures and Club policies.
Assist in inventory management of supplies and range equipment.
Support membership services and answer questions regarding range operations and memberships.
Promote outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
