Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Taunton
Projects: Across the South West (Exeter to Bristol)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Private Healthcare + 26 Days Holiday

Kick‑start your commercial career on major civil engineering projects. We’re working with a well‑established and growing civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure schemes across the South West. Operating on projects typically valued between £5m and £20m, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high‑quality bridges, highways, infrastructure and heavy civils works.

They’re now looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who wants to learn from experienced professionals, gain real project exposure and build a long‑term career within a business that genuinely invests in its people.

The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work alongside an experienced commercial team, gaining hands‑on involvement throughout the full project lifecycle on major civil engineering schemes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the commercial management of projects valued between £5m and £20m
