Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with all aspects of an apartment community and provide welcoming and excellent customer service to residents, prospects, staff, and vendors.
  2. Assist with leading, guiding, and supervising leasing and maintenance staff as they serve residents of the GSC Apartment Community.
  3. Partner with the support of senior leadership to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, occupancy, and resident satisfaction goals.
  4. Collaborate with Marketing and your team to cultivate business plans and marketing strategies.
  5. Oversee rent collection and seek out opportunities to improve or avoid delinquencies by monitoring high-balance accounts.
  6. Complete weekly and monthly reports while monitoring occupancy, expenses, and delinquencies.
  7. Conduct regular on-site inspections of model units, grounds, and maintenance.
  8. Manage the efficiency and quality of move-outs and move-ins.
  9. Oversee capital improvement and or repair projects with external vendors while communicating with staff, leadership, and residents when appropriate.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Property Management role, preferably with a conventional apartment community or communities.
  2. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, ability to multitask.
  3. Proficiency with planning and maintaining budgets.
  4. Systems knowledge to include Microsoft 360, SharePoint, MRI or other Property Management Software.
  5. A willingness to learn, grow professionally, and work collaboratively with a team.
