Job summary

Bader is seeking a rental assistant at Soul Apartments in the Twin Cities area. You will manage rent collection, leasing responsibilities, and resident relations, ensuring professional service and accurate records.

Key duties include inventory of supplies, rent roll updates, responding to resident issues, showing and leasing apartments, and maintaining reporting accuracy. The role emphasizes professionalism, adherence to Fair Housing rules, and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and ordering of administrative supplies and equipment.
• Collect and record rent, update rent roll.
• Record and complete work requests.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Show and lease apartments to residents.
• Know leasing techniques and sales methods as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of property rental information.
• Maintain leasing closing ratio per company requirements.
• Submit administrative forms, files and reports on time.
• Process rent payments, bank deposits, and account reconciliation.
• Assist in resident retention program design and implementation.

Schedule

• Tuesday - Saturday
• 9:00a-5:00p
• Flexibility to 6p, a few days a week as business needs change.

Compensation

$24-$26

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the inventory and ordering of necessary administrative supplies and equipment.
• Collecting and recording rent, updating rent roll.
• Recording and completing work requests.
• Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and manner for oneself at all times.
• Handle resident issues efficiently and effectively while maintaining Bader’s standard of professionalism. Showing and leasing apartments.
• Responsible for the thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales methods as designated by Bader.
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of property rental information.
• Responsible for maintaining a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements.
• Responsible for the efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of administrative forms, files and reports.
• Responsible for cash receipting rent payments promptly and correctly, making bank deposits, reconciling account ledgers and sending out late rent letters.
• Assist the Property Manager in the design and implementation of resident retention programs.
• Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.
• Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules.
• Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
