Trinity Property Consultants in Jackson, MS is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, leasing, and financial performance. You will partner with the Property Manager to deliver a premier resident experience and maintain operational excellence.

The role requires 2+ years in multifamily property management, strong customer service, and experience with rent collections and administrative tasks. Competitive hourly pay and growth potential are offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certifications preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and post rent payments in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
  • Maintain all account records and financial transactions, including NSF checks, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management-approved debits and credits.
  • Keep complete and accurate resident files and ensure documentation meets company standards.
  • Show, lease, and assist with move-ins for prospective residents.
  • Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
  • Conduct move-in inspections and assist with deposit accounting.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Property Manager, you play a critical role in supporting the dailyoperations,and financial performance ofyour property.You’llpartner closely with the Property Manager to deliver anexceptional resident experience,maintainoperational excellence, and support leasing, collections, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional looking to continue growing within multifamily property management.

Compensation: $24 to $25 per hour, based on your experience, with opportunities for bonuses.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Ideal candidate must have previous Assistant Property Manager experience in the multifamily industry.

Business andFinancialPerformance

  • Receive, process, and post rent paymentsin accordance withcompany standards.

  • Assistwith market surveys and competitive analysis.

Operational Excellence& Resident Experience

  • Show, lease, andassistwith move-ins for prospective residents.
  • Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
  • Conduct move-ininspections to ensure apartments are ready,move-out inspections andassistwith deposit accounting.
  • Performregular property and vacant unit inspections to ensure smoothoperations.
  • Partner with Maintenance and vendors to ensure prompt, high-quality serviceresolutionand seamless operational performance.
  • ProcessMaintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
  • Provide industry-leading living experience through superior customer service to residents.
  • Resolve resident concerns professionally and elevate issues asappropriate.
  • Support the Property Manager with daily operations and specialprojects asassigned.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintainaccurateunit availability.
  • Provide phone and administrative support as needed.
  • Adhere to Trinity operating procedures, policies, and compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management isrequired.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalentrequired.Industry certifications (CAM, CPM, RMP, CMCA)are preferredbut notrequired. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Tech Proficiency: Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)and SharePoint, ADP.Experience with Yardi, Entrata,Celeri,EliseAIand Asanais a bonus.
Requirements

Availability & Travel

This positionwillrequireavailability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, as well as occasional travel for company events or meetings.Active participation in team functions and regionalorcompany activities is expected.

Physical Demands

This positionnecessitatesregular periods of sitting, standing, walking, as well as use of hands and arms. Occasional climbing may berequired. Extended use of computers or telephones is also necessary. The rolemay requirelifting upto 25 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds withassistance. The ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential. Candidates must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
