Job Description Summary

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They also build and motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Ensure the smooth operation of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Assist the Property Manager with operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  3. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  4. Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards.
  5. Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic.
  6. Support the team by embodying Cushman & Wakefield's mission to be the best national management company.
  7. Assist with daily operations of the on-site team, ensuring policy adherence.
  8. Maintain effective staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  9. Manage residents' files according to standards.
  10. Maintain a positive living environment through conflict resolution and follow-up.
  11. Oversee community budget and finances.
  12. Work with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.
Competencies

Work Environment

Professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and travel outside. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Cushman & Wakefield offers benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and more. Compensation ranges from $26.35 to $31.00 per hour depending on experience and location.
