What You’ll Do

A typical Assistant Residential Property Manager’s day might include:

• Recommending a Leasing Consultant be promoted to Assistant Manager after several months of coaching and closing any skill gaps.
• Reviewing a leasing report to ensure the team is making every effort to convert prospects to future residents.
• De-escalating a tricky situation with a resident resulting in a 5-star Google review.
• Reprioritizing the maintenance team’s day after a water leak is discovered.
• Collaborating with the maintenance team on ways to reduce supplies expenses.
• Brainstorming with the marketing team on fresh community marketing ideas, such as showcasing "a day in the life” on TikTok.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

This role might be a fit for you if:

• You take ownership and understand the big picture, finding the small everyday wins and ways to do more with less.
• You are a natural communicator, able to simplify complex issues, such as a family relocating across states, and are comfortable communicating via phone, email, chat, Facebook, etc.
• You are curious and driven, asking questions that get to the root of the problem and following up with more questions.
• You are flexible and enjoy learning new things, rolling with changes. Your availability allows for a flexible work week, including some weekend coverage.
• You have at least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity managing multifamily communities, and an associate degree in business or a related field is preferred.
