Great Opportunity to join the KPG Team in a dual role as an Assistant Property Manager and Maintenance Technician at our community Beacon Pointe Townhomes in Hamilton, OH.

*This role will be an Assistant Property Manager which will also cover Maintenance Technician duties as needed.

Pay rate: $23/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible and accountable for assisting in on-site operations at an apartment community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process new applications, re-certifications, and provide required information to the compliance department.
  • Show apartments to prospective residents.
  • Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
  • Assist property manager in overseeing leasing and maintenance staff.
  • Assist with marketing and leasing activities as requested.
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist manager with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits, petty cash records, delinquent rents, evictions, and maintaining curb appeal.
  • Assist manager in providing account information to the regional supervisor and credit agencies.
  • Assist manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience
  • Language Skills - Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret instructions, simple correspondence, and present information in small groups.
  • Math Skills - Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compare rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret basic graphs.
  • Reasoning Skills - Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle problems involving few variables.
  • Computer Skills - Beginner experience with MS Office.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Annually attend fair housing, section 42, and leasing classes.
  • Ongoing professional development.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Rarely need to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
  • Close and distance vision required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Normally works in an environment with moderate noise.
