Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the overall management and operations of our properties, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, organizational skills, a passion for property management, a track record of working independently, and the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and vendors.

Duties
  • Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and property maintenance tasks.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and management of property systems, including Buildium.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up on repairs and services.
  • Support leasing activities by conducting property tours and assisting with tenant applications.
  • Implement facilities management procedures to enhance property functionality.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and property policies.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote resident engagement.
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable through QuickBooks.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in property management or related fields is required.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and facilities management.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks related to real estate operations.
  • Effective phone etiquette for handling tenant communications professionally.
  • Familiarity with data entry processes and property management software, particularly Buildium.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
