Assistant Community Manager – Multifamily Community (Inglewood, CA)

Full-Time | On-Site

A growing real estate organization is seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations across a busy multifamily community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the operational backbone of a property—balancing resident relations, leasing support, financial coordination, and maintenance oversight.

About the Role

You’ll partner closely with the Community Manager to ensure the property runs smoothly day-to-day. This includes supporting leasing efforts, coordinating maintenance activity, managing resident communication, and helping drive financial and operational performance. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a Community Manager role and enjoys being hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Property Operations
  • Assist with daily operations across the community
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct regular property walks and unit inspections
  • Support safety, security, and adherence to regulations
Resident Experience
  • Build positive relationships with residents
  • Support renewals, notices, and resident communication
  • Enforce community policies and address concerns professionally
  • Assist with legal notices and compliance processes
Leasing & Occupancy
  • Support leasing activity to maintain occupancy goals
  • Conduct tours, process applications, and assist with move‑ins
  • Review market comps and provide input on pricing and specials
  • Help ensure units are market‑ready and presented at a high standard
Financial & Administrative Support
  • Assist with rent collection and delinquency management
  • Review invoices, coding, and vendor billing for accuracy
  • Provide input on budgets, projections, and financial reporting
  • Maintain organized documentation and reporting schedules
Maintenance Coordination
  • Partner with maintenance teams to manage work orders and unit turns
  • Monitor aging work orders and ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate vendor activity and maintain strong working relationships
Team Collaboration
  • Support on‑site staff with daily tasks and communication
  • Participate in team meetings and performance discussions
  • Help reinforce operational standards and company policies
What You Bring
  • 2–5 years of experience in property management or a related role
