Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager at our King of Prussia, PA property, working under the supervision of the Property Manager.

Assistant Manager job responsibilities:
- Generate and complete resident renewals
- Coordinate with Marketing to plan and execute resident retention campaigns
- Assist Property and Regional Managers with assigned tasks
- Ensure timely collection and posting of rents and late fees
- Initiate legal actions following State and Company guidelines
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Complete and accurately input lease and related paperwork
- Maintain current resident files digitally and physically
- Support staff teamwork and foster a harmonious environment
- Maintain community appearance and oversee timely repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and correct unsafe conditions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Ideal candidate qualifications:
- CALP credential preferred, not required
- 1-2 years of industry experience and customer service background
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Positive attitude and composure under stress
- Fair Housing certification prior to engaging with prospects or residents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata preferred)
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and reliable transportation
