We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This position supports the Property Manager(s) for a regional retail real estate portfolio, focusing on maximizing property value through revenue enhancements, expense reductions, leasing strategies, and redevelopment initiatives across 3-4 retail properties. Responsibilities include:

• Participating in day-to-day property management functions.
• Assisting in preparing annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
• Supporting leasing activities and developing annual business plans.
• Ensuring properties meet branding, appearance, and safety standards.
• Understanding tenant financials to inform decision-making.
• Assisting in risk management and staying updated on industry trends.
• Supporting tenant construction, redevelopment projects, marketing, and security activities.
• Communicating with employees, vendors, and tenants.

Qualifications:

• Recent college graduate with a degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or business. Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn budgeting, management reporting, and review of lease and insurance documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn MRI and Salesforce.
