We are seeking an experienced and motivated property management professional to join our team at one of our apartment communities in Arlington, VA. As the Assistant Property Manager, you will assist in achieving the operational and financial goals of the property.

What the Assistant Property Manager will be doing:
  • Assisting the Property Manager with daily operations, including oversight of leasing and marketing efforts.
  • Helping achieve leasing benchmarks and property goals.
  • Handling prospect and resident relations.
  • Preparing property invoices, assisting with rent receivables, managing delinquencies, and performing property inspections.
  • Supporting the development of operating budgets, business plans, and mandatory property reports.
  • Participating in resident functions.
  • Supporting skill development and career growth of the leasing and administrative team.
What the Assistant Property Manager will need to succeed:
  • Prior residential leasing experience with the ability to secure leases; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales, customer relations, and marketing.
  • Experience with social media platforms and marketing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to resolve staff and resident issues objectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); basic math skills required.
