What You'll Do:

The Assistant Property Manager is a dual-roleposition with a primary focus on driving occupancy through leasing and marketingstrategies, while also serving as support to the Property Manager leading the property’smission, operational goals and financial successes. This team member plays acritical role in resident engagement, branding, and leasing performance, and steps intooperational leadership when needed.

Your Impact:

Leasing & Marketing (Primary Focus)
• Lead all leasing efforts, including goal setting, daily lead management, and performance tracking.

  • Oversee execution of the property's annual marketing strategy, including digital,grassroots, and university-facing efforts.
  • Manage leasing team and student brand ambassadors, providing regular training,coaching, and support.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service in all prospect interactions and leasingcommunications.
  • Oversee online reputation, review platforms, and social media engagement to supportleasing efforts.
  • Partner with the Property Manager and corporate marketing team to evaluate campaignperformance and adjust tactics as needed.

Resident Life & Community Engagement:
• Support the Community Assistant team in executing events that align with our Inspired Living mission.

  • Maintain a strong presence at resident events and in the community to supportsatisfaction and renewals.
  • Help facilitate resident communication and assist with resolving resident issuesalongside the GM.


Assistant Property Manager Duties:

  • Act as property lead when the Property Manager is out of office.
  • Assist with financials including tracking expenses, reviewing monthly financials,forecasting, and budgeting support.
  • Participate in vendor coordination, contract execution, and service scheduling.
  • Contribute to staff hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training as needed.
  • Help ensure compliance with all operating standards, policies, and housingregulations.
  • Participate in ownership or corporate-level reporting calls when requested.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned


What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • A Bachelor’s degree or proven success as an Assistant Property Manager positionpreferred
  • Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in off campus student housing
  • Sales and/or management experience in multifamily housing, student housing,hospitality, or retail industries
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Comfortable working flexible hours during leasing season or event support
  • Proficiency in CRM/property management systems and general office software
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Team player with high levels of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
