S&S Property Management Company is seeking an experienced, energetic, hands-on Assistant Property Manager to join our team and support one of our properties in Chattanooga, TN. If you can work independently and are interested in an environment that offers new opportunities and experiences daily, please read further. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of multi-family property management experience.

Position Summary

The Assistant Property Manager is a key team member assisting the Property Manager in effectively managing the apartment community. You should have strengths in leasing and management, including strong collections, time management, and follow-up skills.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of consistently selling and closing residents with various needs, and will have the drive and skills to track activity and coordinate with management. Industry experience and certification are preferred. Must be proficient in entering and retrieving data in multi-family software and using Microsoft Office. Flexibility in work hours is required, along with the ability to show units, navigate stairs, and work with prospective residents.

Job Responsibilities

The Assistant Property Manager maintains accurate reports of rents and deposits daily, weekly, and monthly. All business is conducted in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and relevant laws pertaining to apartment communities.
