Are you organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent service? Join our team as Assistant Property Manager and play a vital role in helping manage day-to-day operations, support tenant relations, and maintain our properties to the highest standard.

In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations, happy tenants, and well-maintained properties — all while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced property management environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Leasing & Tenant Relations:
    • Assist with screening applicants and processing lease agreements
    • Help coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and rent collection
    • Address and resolve tenant concerns promptly and professionally
  • Property Maintenance & Inspections:
    • Schedule and follow up with routine inspections, including vacant units
    • Ensure curb appeal and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Administrative & Operational Support:
    • Help maintain accurate records and update internal databases
    • Prepare reports, notices, and communications as needed
    • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between tenants and management
    • Support the Property Manager in daily operations and special projects
    • Step in during the Property Manager’s absence as needed
    • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in property management or administrative support
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and leasing practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a team-first attitude

Physical Demands

  • Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and frequently moving small objects
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly
  • Walking or standing occasionally
