The role involves assisting the Property Manager with lease preparations, rent collection, late notices, NSF processing, and evictions if necessary. The Assistant Property Manager will support scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining vendor and check request files. Responsibilities include recording rent payments, managing delinquency and eviction reports, and contacting residents regarding overdue accounts. The position also involves monitoring service requests, apartment turnovers, and maintaining leasing paperwork and waiting lists.
The candidate will help ensure high service levels among staff, assist in problem-solving, and maintain effective communication with residents. Additional duties include preparing reports, organizing files, updating waiting lists, and assisting with leasing activities such as traffic monitoring, renewals, and move-ins/outs. The role requires inspecting units, keeping the Property Manager informed, and supporting team training and marketing efforts.
Other responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, supporting company policies, punctuality, attending meetings, and performing any other related duties as directed.
