KingRecruitingServices is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent for a design-build highway project north of Tampa Bay. This full-time on-site role backs up the Project Superintendent and runs subs, foremen and crews on FDOT work, with a clear path to the Superintendent role.

Candidates should have 5–7 years in heavy civil highway construction, FDOT contracts experience, OSHA 10 a plus, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil highway construction.
• Experience with FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• Current level of Assistant Superintendent, General Foreman or senior Foreman.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate.

Responsabilités

• Run subcontractors, foremen and crews day to day.
• Back up the Project Superintendent on planning and production.
• Keep daily reports, logs and field documentation current.
• Handle quality control in the field.
• Sit in meetings with the owner and FDOT inspectors.
• Coordinate equipment, material and deliveries.
• Own jobsite safety and toolbox talks.
• Track quantities and daily production.
• Travel between work areas on the project as needed.
