Position description

The Department of Environmental Toxicology at UC Davis, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, is recruiting for an Assistant Project Scientist to work at the interface of toxicology, cell biology, and molecular biology in a bioinformatics environment.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Research (95%)
  • Contribute to research on toxic effects on proteins and cell cultures, designing projects, supervising trainees, and interpreting results. Experience in cell culture, PCR, sequence analysis, molecular modeling, high-performance computing, and herbicide toxicology is required.
  • Publish research results in peer-reviewed outlets.
  • Assist in applying for research funding and preparing reports.
