Job summary

Control Point Associates, Inc. is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager in Chalfont, PA to lead field crews and coordinate surveying projects. This role emphasizes training, client communication, and project oversight in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in surveying with 2-3 years of management experience, a Bachelor's degree (SIT preferred), and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. The position offers a competitive salary, robust benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in surveying field with 2-3 years of management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, SIT (Surveyor in Training even better!)
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and management of survey field crews, CAD Drafters, Survey Technicians and support staff.
• Communicate effectively across all teams and business units.
• Assist in the financial management of survey projects, including contract preparation, billing reports, invoicing and collections.
• Boundary analysis and computations of ALTA, topographic, utility and roadway surveys utilizing Civil 3D and other industry standard software.
• Construction stakeout services including field setup and quality control of construction stakeout projects.
• Quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, and review of title commitment reports.
• Assist with client meetings, conference calls and coordination.
• Business development – identify potential new clients, attend marketing events/conferences and maintain existing client relations.
• Contract preparation.
• Provide overall daily management of project workflow, staffing, and deadlines under the supervision of a project manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
