What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Acts as key interface with the local Convergint Specialist and Project management to ensure job is executed as required.
  • Acts as key interface with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules, specifically responsible for documenting all change orders for jobs to ensure all local hours are captured as well as Integrated Project Management team costs.
  • Identifies potential project risks and assists to develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and develop and implement strategies for controlling deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You'll Need
  • Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
  • Developing project financial skills.
  • Leadership Orientation-Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization.
  • Strong Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):
  • 3-5 years engineering, field service or project management
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
  • Previous supervisory
