Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager or similar role.

• Support the Project Manager in delivering a ground-up multifamily project from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and self-performed work.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.

An employee owned real estate developer and general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the team on a 150 unit ground up multifamily development in New Haven, CT.

Working from the onsite project office, you'll partner with an experienced Project Manager through all phases of construction while gaining exposure to both the development and construction sides of the business.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering a ground up multifamily project from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and self performed work.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, procurement, budgets, and cost reporting.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with project closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role.
• Ground up multifamily construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
