Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with hands-on construction experience to support fast-paced, complex projects. You will report to the SPM/PM, process RFIs and submittals, assist with closeouts, and help coordinate with owners, architects, and major trades on mission-critical and large commercial builds.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years onsite in a Project Engineer or APM role, OSHA 30 certification, and experience with data centers or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Construction Science preferred.
• 2–4 years in construction field serving onsite as Project Engineer or in similar APM role.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, or large commercial construction projects.
• Exposure to MEP systems coordination and installation.
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar CM software.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to SPM/PM for your project.
• Process RFIs and Submittals.
• Assist with close out process.
• Compile and submit subcontractor pricing (after review by SPM/PM).
• Lead Owner/Architect/Consultant meetings.
• Lead coordination and final coordination meeting on storm shelters if required.
• Complete coordination with major trades.
• Review subcontractors pay applications.
• Assemble owner billings.
• Assist with buying out subcontracts.
• Assist with putting together subcontract documents.
• Attend and help estimating during bid days.
• Base knowledge of project financials.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing.
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Construction Science preferred

• Exposure to MEP systems coordination and installation.
• Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management software.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience.
