Job Description

Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager for the San Diego, CA location has the following duties which include safety of field personnel assigned to the projects, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, the individual must have 5-7 years of construction work-related experience and/or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Computer Skills

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs: Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, and PowerPoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software), and Quotesoft Estimating Software.

  1. Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  2. Must prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  3. Must have demonstrated ability to perform basic business mathematical functions.
  4. Must work with minimal supervision.
  5. Must effectively manage time and details.
