Job summary

Consigli Construction in Maine is hiring an Assistant Project Manager. This full-time, salary-exempt role pays $98,000–$108,000 and reports to the Project Manager.

You will assist on all project aspects, with emphasis on document control, subcontractor coordination, design-team communication, and project reporting. You will mentor the Project Engineer and help drive quality, cost control and scheduling to successful project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or architecture required or preferred.
• 3-5 years of construction project management experience.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 certifications preferred.
• Experience with cost, scheduling, and project-management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for Owners, OPMs and design teams.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with subcontractors, design teams, and owner representatives to resolve field conflicts and drive resolution.
• Support cost and change management; prepare reports for review with other team members and present at Owner and internal meetings.
• Assist in development of estimates and bid proposals for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Oversee Project Engineer and document control (RFIs, submittals, material delivery).
• Mentor and train supporting team members, including Project Engineers.
• Maintain relations with subcontractors and monitor submittal & material delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Scheduler to update and distribute project master schedule.
• Assist with project closeout checklist and documentation.
