Job summary

GH Engage in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support complex industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, and data center projects with a leading General Contractor. You will assist with daily project activities, document control, and coordination with subcontractors and clients.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of PM experience, proficiency with Procore or similar tools, and a collaborative mindset to help deliver on time, safely, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with a General Contractor.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, data center, distribution, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project controls.
• Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software proficiency.
• Support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation and coordination with subcontractors and clients.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, and procurement.
• Help drive project delivery while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
