Job summary

LUZCO is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager to support utility and construction projects from kickoff through completion. You’ll work with senior managers, engineers, clients, and field teams to keep projects on track and moving forward.

This role is 80% office-based and 20% field-based, with travel within a 1–3 hour radius of the reporting location. A hands-on, growth-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or construction project management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers across multiple active projects from inception to completion.
• Review initial project scopes and assist in developing project work plans with engineering teams and clients.
• Coordinate outage requests and sequencing plans with internal teams and contractors.
• Assist with procurement coordination for major and minor material/equipment needs.
• Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittals.
• Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and financial forecasts.
