Job summary

Interstates seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join our team and keep projects on track. You’ll assist the Project Manager, work with field crews, and manage project controls to deliver high-quality work across the US.

We offer a competitive base salary and outstanding benefits, with opportunities for career growth. Travel up to 100% and relocation are required to support the project lifecycle from 6 months to 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in construction-related field.
• Ability to track and organize projects.
• Strong communication with clients and teams.
• Willing to relocate anywhere in the US and travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and jobsite leadership in managerial functions.
• Run project control systems for the project team.
• Create and update CPM schedules and communicate status.
• Coordinate Last Planner scheduling and crew scheduling.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and other site communications.
• Act as project analyst to assess controls information and problem solve.
• Provide estimating take-offs and other support for analysis and change orders.
• Attend client meetings onsite and collaborate with trade contractors.
• Prepare information for monthly project reviews.
• Assist in procurement and expediting of materials and subcontracts.
• Promote Interstates safety culture daily.
