Job summary

Kelley Construction, Inc. in The Colony, TX is seeking an estimator to support project bids across commercial and industrial sectors. You will provide technical estimates, interpret design documents, and coordinate with supervision and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, producing timely estimates, updating as-built records, and preparing change requests. Proficiency with Timberline and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four year construction degree is required.
• Knowledge of construction codes.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the construction bidding process.
• Create and provide accurate estimates of scopes of work.
• Interpret design documents to facilitate solutions.
• Research and recommend design issue resolutions.
• Monitor field work for compliance with standards and codes.
• Maintain and update as-built and contract documents.
• Prepare change requests to resolve design issues.
• Manage document control including RFIs, submittals, and agreements.
• Attend project meetings with owners and engineers as requested.
