Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for our South San Francisco office who will work on a variety of Technology projects. Accelerate both your professional and personal growth by joining our team!

Your Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the PMA project team and collaborate with the client and project teams through a successful process of strategic real estate planning, design, and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments. Some of the ways you will support our projects:

  1. You have 3+ years of development and project management experience.
  2. You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance or a related field.
  3. You assist with the development and completion of project-specific tasks as required to meet or exceed the expectations of the client and fulfill contractual obligations.
  4. You support the planning and analysis of conceptual design issues and pre-construction activities.
  5. You coordinate and review the development of architectural and engineering construction drawings and bid documents.
  6. You effectively review, understand, and enforce contractual requirements for design and construction professionals and assist project management staff in generating contracts and addenda.
  7. You understand the building permit process and support the design and construction professionals in securing the permit.
  8. You effectively meet with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to review the project status and resolve issues.
  9. You responsibly maintain and follow-up on project open item lists.
  10. You direct and/or document project meetings.
  11. You review and analyze potential changes to the budget or schedule.
  12. You monitor construction budget and schedule, including updating and maintaining web-based project controls.
  13. You actively observe and report on construction process and construction-related issues (field reports, job walks, etc.).
  14. You assemble and review materials for project drawing packages.
  15. You manage the project close-out process to a successful completion.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$110,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on location, experience, skills, relevant education, and training.
