STV Assistant Project Manager - Data Centers, Mission Critical

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for their Construction Management group in Mount Pleasant, WI, specializing in Data Centers and Mission Critical facilities.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in representing owners on capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations, and additions. The successful candidate will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management, and project closeout. Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in leading project teams, setting goals, developing policies, and mentoring team members.
  • Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Develop and review project budgets, cash flows, cost estimates, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
  • Identify potential liabilities and risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and monitor project schedules to ensure objectives are met.
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors, including conflict resolution.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively, anticipate concerns, and persuade stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Contribute to the development of standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management techniques, principles, and standards, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively resolve issues and supervise team members, including recruitment and performance management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and project management software.
  • Ability to forecast challenges and develop solutions to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Compensation Range: $79,899.94 - $106,533.25
