Role Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the management of custom home projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Reporting to the Project Manager and COO, you will collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal teams to facilitate project success. This role offers growth opportunities for those seeking to advance their careers in construction management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Support on-site activities and coordination with trade partners.
• Use project management tools like CoConstruct to update schedules, track progress, and maintain documentation.
• Schedule inspections, ensure compliance with building codes, and address site issues proactively.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Maintain a safe, organized worksite, promoting safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in construction or project management, preferably in residential or custom homebuilding.
• Familiarity with CoConstruct, Bluebeam, or similar software; proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred (training available).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proactive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute within an hour of Sussex County, DE.
