Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects for diverse clients. The role focuses on coordinating contractual information for field teams, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring work is performed safely, cost-effectively, and on time.

The APM will develop advanced project management skills, work with Excel, Power BI, and MS Office, and participate in a 6-week field rotation to gain practical experience and independence in project

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in construction management, business management, or logistics / supply chain.
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI and MS Office applications.
• Strong written communication; ability to compose technical documents and invoices.
• Strong oral communication; ability to present to diverse groups.
• Ability to develop and maintain internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project management of construction projects across a mix of customers.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring field operations have pertinent contractual information.
• Provide information necessary to perform work per specifications in a safe, cost effective, and timely manner.
• Develop advanced skills and the ability to work independently; participate in a 6-week field rotation.
