A leading construction company in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years of experience in managing projects over $10 million. Responsibilities include project planning, subcontractor management, cost reporting, and ensuring compliance with project management systems. Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager on projects over $10 million.
Responsibilities
Oversee project planning and mobilization.
Assist in preparing the CPM baseline and schedule updates.
Manage timely and accurate Subcontractor Purchasing.
Process submittals to meet project schedules.
Expedite material deliveries from subcontractors and vendors.
Manage the RFI Process for updated drawings.
Chair subcontractor preconstruction meetings.
Participate in safety planning and the SOS Program.
Manage the S&P Quality Control Program.
Assist in reviewing job cost reports and monthly analysis.
Assist in preparing monthly draw requests.
Process and approve monthly sub/vendor invoices.
Control subcontractor’s Schedule of Values.
Assist in the Change Order Process.
Close out projects in compliance with documents.
Ensure project management system implementation.
